Persona

Based on my focus group, I tried to have two personas. The first one is Iliria, who is an independent grandma; she doesn’t know that much about technology, and she needs help to get her medication on time and take care of herself. She also has a problem with easy communication ways because using the phone is hard for her.

The other persona is Kiara, who is her daughter. Kiara has her own family with her kid, but she is also her old mother’s caregiver. So, she has a hard situation and feels burned out. She needs some help to manage her mother’s medication and health, and help her stay independent.

What is Careify?

Careify is a human-centered, AI-powered care system that combines a mobile app for caregivers and simplified tablet app for seniors integrated with a tactile Bluetooth frame to support health tracking, communication, and daily independence.

Senior’s Device (Tablet-Based OS + Bluetooth Frame)

  • Locked interface prevents confusion

  • 10 physical buttons via Bluetooth frame

  • One-touch access to key features (calls, messages, etc.)

  • High-contrast, large-icon design for easy visibility
